Valencia Wagner is a Setswana Researcher at South African Centre for Digital Language Resources (SADiLaR). Her passion for languages, especially Setswana home language, drives her research and forms part of her core being. Her long-term goal is to be able to develop Setswana as a language of communication and of teaching & learning in schools, by promoting the use of digital methodologies and approaches. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, phonetics and phonology.
